We all know that Asus phones are not as popular (in mid-range) as Redmi and Realme. Although Asus is not a well-known company in the smartphone industry but Asus is quite popular in Zenfone Max Pro M2 and M1 in the mid-range category. Currently, I am using both devices zenfone max pro M2 and M1, but I do not know why the company did not continue the Zenfone series. Today we are talking about Asus zenfone Max Pro M2 and M1 and you can also apply this process to other Asus devices like Zenfone 5z, 6z, and ROG. Today we are fixed a Bricked Asus Phone, Move Custom ROM to Official Stock ROM and Flash a Stock ROM on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and M2.

How to Unbricked a bricked Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and M2


As I said earlier this process applies to all Asus phones. All you have to do is change the files. However, if your device is Redmi then click here. If anything ever happens to your device, the first option is to flash the stock ROM on your device via the fastboot method. Here anythings means if your device is bricked, you want to move Custom ROM to official Stock ROM, Remove Custom Recovery, and you want to Relock the bootloader anythings. One more thing if you flash to stock ROM via the fastboot method you again able to get the official OTA updates on your device. So now what's the process.


Step to Recover a bricked Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and M1



  • First of all, take a full backup of your Android Phone. Because in this process your device is completely wiped.

  • You Need a PC for this Process and Make sure the ADB drivers are installed on your PC (Computer).

  • Now download the Required Flashable Stock ROM for your Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and M1. If your device is other then search it on the Internet.

  • After downloading the Zip file move it to the ADB driver folder and unzip it. (on your C drive)

  • Now Turn off your Asus Phone and boot into Fastboot mode. (Hold the Volume up+Powerkey simultaneously).

  • Now connect your Asus Phone to PC via the USB Cable.

  • After this Hold the Shift button on your PC (Under ADB Folder), right-click anywhere in the blank space, Now select the open Powershell here or command prompt window.

  • Now in the command window type your first command Fastboot devices. If this command shows your device name or code, it means that your device is properly connected to the PC.

  • (Note:- this command process is not the part of flashing stock ROM)

  • After confirming, open the Unzip Asus Stock ROM file, which you have download earlier.

  • Under this folder double click on flashall_AFT which is a Windows Command Script file.

  • After clicking on it a command process means fastboot ROM flashing process has been started.

  • The whole process takes about 10–15 minutes so sit back and relax, and do not remove the USB cable during this process.

  • When the flashing is finished your devices automatically boot into Stock ROM.


Note:- The Given file link is Android Oreo-based, So after flashing the ROM Update your device (OTA Update)

So this is the whole process of flashing a stock ROM on your Asus phone. You can apply this process to any Asus phone but do not forget to change the file.

So, at last, the final verdict is that if you ever want to fix your Asus Phone then try this process.  So in this way you can flash the Stock ROM on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and M1.

  2. sir my asus zenfone max pro m2 is stuck on asus logo i done all u tell but
    1st no adb folder or file shown in c drive or in window drive. so i install minmal adb and fastboot its show on program file x86 and fallow all ur steps.
    2nd when i double click on flashall_aft then within second cmd on and off

  4. Your are literally great. Actually I experimented something on my father's phone which unfortunately ended up some error for unable to unroot with some black screen after trying may tutorial, may be the stock rom file was the issue. Then I found your updated file and tried and it worked. Thank you for the updated file. It saved my life.
