Android Q is the Next upcoming Version of Android. Currently, Android Pie 9.0 is the most recent version of Android, and most of the Android device is running on it. As you all know that the next update of Android is Android Q and currently the Android Q is under process, but in a few days you will see the Android Q First Developer preview for Pixel Devices. However, there is still some time left to release the Android Q, but recently a GSI of Android Q has been released for Android devices. The GSI is not only for the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and M2 you can install this GSI on any android device which supports the Project Treble Feature. Now how to Install Android Q GSI on Zenfone Max Pro M1 and M2.

This GIS is neither beta nor a developer; This is an alpha version so that you can see many bugs and issues in it. The Alpha GIS is not only for Max Pro M1 and M2 even you can install it on any Android Phone. The main benefit of a GIS is that you can try the latest version of any Android at any time. So now how to install Android Q GSI on Zenfone Max Pro M1 and M2. Install Android 10 on Max Pro M1.

You can Install Android Q on Any Android Phone but make sure your Phone bootloader is unlocked, and a Custom recovery is installed on your phone.

  • So first of all Unlocked Android Phone bootloader.

  • Install Custom Recovery on Android Phone.

  • Custom ROM for Max Pro M1 and M2.

  • Download Android Q GSI.

  • Download Permissive, Qfixes, and Gapps.

  • Take a full backup of Android Phone.

Step to Install Android Q on any Android Phone



  • First of all boot the Zenfone Max Pro M1 and M2 into Recovery (TWRP) mode.

  • Now tap on Wipe, and Factory Reset the Android Phone after that select the Delvik/ART Cache, Cache, System and Data and wipe it.

  • After this tap on Install and Flash the Custom ROM on Zenfone Max Pro M1 and M2 (for the vendor).

  • After installing the Custom ROM again click on Wipe and Wipe the Dalvik, Cache, System, and Data (don’t wipe the vendor).

  • Now again Tap on install, hit on the Install image option.

  • Install the A-only GSI Image on Zenofne Max Pro M1 and M2 as a system image.

  • After GSI flash the Permissive and Qfixes.

  • Now at last flash the Gapps and Magisk (optional).

  • Finally after this tap on Reboot system and Reboot the device.


So in this way you can Install the Android Q on your Max Pro M1 and M2.

Final verdict

So the final verdict is that currently the GSI is in an Alpha mode so obviously you can get some bugs and issues. However, if you just want to test the Android Q then install it, otherwise, currently, I don’t recommend to install it on any android phone.
